Collaboration is Our Commitment

Supporting Families, Providers, and Maternal Mental Health Advancements Ensures Better Knowledge and Care for All

Collaboration - Not Competition

We take a different approach. Instead of reinventing the wheel, we support the Existing Leaders and Centers whose impact-driven programs, services and research raises the bar and standard of care for Maternal Mental Health. Maternal Depression affects socioeconomics as well: Depressed mothers are more likely to be unemployed (20% vs 8%) compared with non depressed mothers. Moreover only 40% of women suffering from maternal depression are able to remain employed full time, compared with 52% of women who do not suffer from maternal depression. Depressed mothers may have a hard time getting and keeping a job, leading to more need for public assistance. Depression has been shown to be a predictor of greater work disability in the short term and of lower income over time.
