Even with access to optimal medical care, the Wilderman family realized that the specialized support and treatment resources required to treat Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders were limited. We founded The Wilderman Fund to eliminate this scarcity. TWF seeks to collaborate with organizations, institutions and providers that share our vision.
Our aim is to reach, teach, train and equip more physicians, providers and their teams on how to properly recognize, diagnose and treat. We hope to break the stigma associated with Maternal Mental Health and help this underserved population of women and families.
We can help facilitate a comprehensive care team and individualized treatment program utilizing the latest and most innovative treatment strategies to provide outstanding personal care.
In addition to advancing education, we support and can establish dedicated Maternal Mental Health programs and services in order to improve care for all patients regardless of their insurance type. We also facilitate clinical trials and research endeavors to further advance Maternal Mental Healthcare.
Every cent we earn goes to support advancements in Maternal and Mental Healthcare as a whole, shattering stigma by elevating the standard of care and treatment for Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Together we will foster a culture of health and empathy which helps end the silent suffering behind Mental Illness.
The Wilderman Fund supports advancements in education, outreach, research and prevention. Our programs set the groundwork for innovation.
